Yesterday's news
Yesterday when I woke up me and my boyfriend were both really sleepy. I don't know why, but all of a sudden we decided to play some early tennis. Not a good idea. My reaction was crap and the ball would not go where I wanted.
After that poor early bird-attempt, we went to our Italian café in Parkveien. Yes, I call it "ours" because we don't have to order. The people there know what we are having and how we like it before we even open our mouths. Which is such a luxury. Stayed there a good while, reading through the official OFW magazine. I have to say - the fashion stories were beautiful (especially the one with the origami theme); but the language had a tad too many spelling errors to my liking....
Later in the evening I went to see Fam Irvoll's show in Kongresshallen at Youngstorget. The place was cramped and hot and flowing over with bloggers and "celebrities". I feel kind of claustrophobic in those kinds of settings - but I guess it just goes to show how little Norway is. The show was cool, though - but maybe a little bit like expected - and not in a good way. Feel like you know what's coming...Had a discussion with my colleague afterwards about what would be really refreshing; what if she suddenly turned minimalistic, with black or muted colours! But then again, the world is full of designers who do that already....

Mysterious times
Been super busy working in the shop lately, but have also found time to do four fashion shoots the last month or so, so my blogging has really suffered I'm afraid. But here's a little peek at one of the shoots which was done in early June at a really remote "resting place"/garage for old trams, buses and trains.
Our inspiration was old film noir and the classic "whodunnit" crimes by Agatha Christie, especially "Murder on the Orient Express". We also hope to make our own version of the original artwork for that movie (see poster on top of page) for the title page of our story. Excited to see how it ends up!
